Picking up this revolver later today and looking for scope and rail suggestions for this 10 shot, .22lr to be used for practice at range, max 50 yds, thanks.

Here is mine with a Leupold 2X scope and rings, a perfect combination. Dont ask me why, the photo is perfectly clear on my computer.

I like the Warne M629 mount for the S&W's and the Warne Permanently attached rings, as well.

As for a scope, stick with Leupold, Burris or Weaver for a handgun scope. Variable scopes are tougher to use that fixed powers, so I prefer to keep it simple and stay with lower power fixed scopes on handguns.
