Finally got a a box of Speer Gold Dot .22 mag optimized for short barrel revolvers. Advertised as 1100 fps out of an NAA 2". Out of a Single Six or Rough Rider with a 4-6" barrel, who knows.

I have no chronograph. OCIndoorRange has no chronograph (they say at least). I'm going to be at OCIndoor to try this stuff out. Probably tomorrow. If someone with a chrony wants to meet me there, I'll bring something like 5 .22mag loads to do a semi-rigorous performance test for SA revolvers in ~5" barrel

Those are some wicked looking rounds. Anyone or anything unlucky enough
to be on the receiving end of 6 of those would be in for a world of hurt!

22mag out of a single action is a wicked little round! Fun as heck to shoot albeit a little pricey.
