Can the 2 be joined in wedded bliss as long as PG is gone and/or mag is locked in place?

If the "pre-ban" upper has a flash hider than it either needs to be removed or the magazine fixed. You cannot have detachable magazines and a flash hider.

Also preban and postban were terms used for the federal AWB.

The ONLY reason pre-ban/post-ban still exist is because some states, NOT California, have laws that allow ownership, sale, purchase, etc of pre-ban items but not post-ban items. New Yorkers for examples can own ANY high capacity magazine manufactured before the ban, however any magazine manufactured during or after the ban is limited to 10 rounds.

Again this does not apply to California.

Well since you mention preban....is yours a registered AW that was purchased in post-ban configuraton?

If you have a registered lower that was a post ban back in 99, you can toss on what you call a preban upper on it no problem.

If your refering to a OLL than the mag has to be locked in place to have a flashsuppressor the bayonet lug is a non issue in SB23.

If it's gripless, can't have a FS or collapsable stock.
