Seen it before but still pretty cool. It says it will stop up to a 9mm. I think I might buy a bunch and stack em 4 thick and use em in a plate carrier. I'm completely joking but it actually might be cheaper than actual ceramic plates.

I saw an episode of mythbusters where a bullet was stopped by a labtop... i believe it had to be shot in the battery though...

They stopped bullets with a few different things. off the top of my head it was a crushed and folded soda can as well as some floor tile.
