As you may know, the California Department of Justice has recently published a second (revised) set of new proposed administrative regulations pertaining to "assault weapons." If adopted, the regulations could turn thousands of semi-automatic rifles with fixed magazines, previously thought to be legal, into illegal "assault weapons." Comments must be submitted to CA DOJ by Nov. 17, 2006.
