Hello fellow CGN readers.

Here's the deal.

Got a new AR 15 (Yes, love it). and i have an A2 front sight, and rear flip up iron sights (don't remember the name).

I was hoping to be able to keep the iron sights and switch between the optics. got a Pic. rail on top.

Was thinking an open lens "Red Dot" style but wasn't sure.

What does everybody reccommend? The current Red dot i have (simms) doesn't clear the A2 sight.

Suggestions?

Primary Arms for cheap
Aimpoint for Battle ready
EOtech for High-tech
Trijicon Reflex for battery-less operation

C-More ATAC or Railway for the non-standard non-tubed RDS (red dot sight)

Aimpoint, Eotech or ACOG. Everything else is a waste of money.

I use irons and an eotech. It works out nice with 1/3 co-witness, you can use the irons without removing the eotech and you can easily look right over the front sight when you are using the eotech. Just make sure that no matter what you go with you still practice a lot with the irons because that is the one thing that will never fail

Primary Arms M3. You need to get the high mount cantilever to cowitness with your iron sight and rear sight.

It's a great optic for an affordable price.

Hope this helps.
