Anyone for weight on these uppers?

I've got a bravo company light weight 14.5 carbine, wondering what the weight comparison is.

Trying to keep it low weight, but considering a rail now.

The Recce Lo Pro is a 16". It's 1lb 9oz according to Noveske's website. If you want the 14.5 inch version then you want the Light Carbine Lo Pro which is the same weight apparently.

No way, 1lb 9oz.

The BCM lightweight one with no handguards (not even plastics) weighs in at 2lb and 10oz.

I'm assuming this has to be with no bcg, ch.

You'd have to call Noveske and ask them. They're pretty responsive. I can weigh my Carbine Lo Pro and see if itweighs what they say.

Just measured mine. Came in at about a hair under 3lbs.

Just put mine on the home scale (probably not super accurate)

Its about 3lbs with ch bcg moe handgaurds.

So, I'd say 2lbs 10 oz is accurate for my upper without handguards or bcg/ch.

I had the charging handle, BCG and Magpul MBUS front and rear on the upper. The SWS rail system is actually fairly light weight and makes up some weight by not having a delta ring and the accompanying hardware.

Man that sounds nice... I'm really looking forward to getting one and losing the 5-6 extra lbs of my ruger sr556. I just checked with City Arms and they are waiting on barrels from Noveske. Anyone know what the ETA is for them to get caught up? I'm looking at a 16" Light Recce w/VIS and switchblock.

I put my order in at Valkyrie Arms for that 16" lightweight recce lo-pro upper last Wednesday. They told me it would be 2-3 weeks...
