*SOLD*, no longer available.

For sale: SIG P220 Equinox .45 ACP and accessories.

Note: I have some magazines and a .22LR conversion kit for it for sale as well.
See http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=421026
for that listing.

I prefer to sell the P220 in a face to face PPT in the San Francisco Bay Area. I live in San Mateo and work in Cupertino so any FFL in the Peninsula or South Bay areas would be ideal, but I may be willing to go outside of those areas. Buyer is responsible for FFL/DROS fees. Asking prices are firm, but if you buy multiple items, I would be willing to give a discount.
If you have a Glock 17 or 19, S&W M&P 9, any 9mm H&K handgun, or a Ruger or S&W double action revolver in .38 special or .357 magnum, I may be interested in that.

This P220 Equinox is the full size 4.4" barrel version. See http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/p220-equinox.aspx for more specs and details.

I got it new in November 2010. It looks great and is accurate, reliable, and the trigger is quite good. It has had about 500 rounds through it with flawless function.

Full disclosure: I have had a few failures to lock the slide to the rear on the last round, however I am sure that is because I was using a 1911 style thumbs-forward grip, and my thumb was accidentally touching the slide lock lever. When I changed my grip around round number 50, it never happened again. This is very common with SIGs, and not a problem with my specific gun. http://www.google.com/search?q=slide+locking+back+grip+site%3Asigforum.c om

Also, the sights seem to be regulated so that the bullet lands where the center of the dot on the front sight is, with the three dots aligned, rather than hitting at the top edge of the front sight with the tops of the sights aligned. So it hits a little bit low if you're used to lining up the tops of the sights. From reading the forums, my understanding is that is a standard issue with this model and not specific to my gun. Some people like it and some don't. See http://www.google.com/search?q=sig+shooting+low+site%3Asigforum.com

It comes with the gun, 2 factory 8-round magazines (does NOT come with all mags pictured unless you buy them separately), original manual, a CA DOJ approved trigger lock, a black factory SIG Sauer case, and a factory chamber flag(the little orange thing). Note: the black case is a little smaller than the standard blue case. This is the case I got when I got the gun.
MSRP is $1200 according to SIG's website as of 4/14/2011. http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/p220-equinox.aspx
Asking price is $850 $840.

Note: the ammo that is pictured in the mags is not included, I just didn't want to bother taking it out.
