I have a ssa-e and it's great. I also have a ssa, and it's also great. Geiselles are great triggers. I wouldn't turn down either ssa. I can barely tell a difference. Safety factor? You should practice proper trigger control. You are the safety factor.

TRIED AN AR WITH A GEISELLE TRIGGER TODAY AT THE RANGE IT WAS SSA-E , THE $30 DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SSA, IS IT WORTH IT. ANY SUGGESTION , ALL MY AR JUST HAVE STANDARD TRIGGER (DPMS) ALSO SAFETY FACTOR. TO CONSIDER :13::13:

Geissele is worth the money. Butter.

Oh, and you should really try not to shout when posting. (turn off the caps lock) :D

What kind of a safety factor are you concerned about?

I have the SSA installed on my LR-308 and it's a night and day difference between my old DPMS trigger and the SSA.

Yeah and the ssa or -e will bump fire like a son of a beyoch. :)

The SSA is rock solid, safe, crisp and consistent.

I need to try one of these Geiselle's out, they seem to be the bee's knees.

I have an SSA and I absolutely love it! Best trigger for an AR imo. Not sure if the enhanced version would be worth the extra $30. Get the standard one, trust me you won't be sorry.

I have the Geiselle and a Timney, I prefer the Timney. Both are great, the Timney has that glass rod break. Both are in target rifles.

I have the timney 3lb and the SSA-E. both are amazing. I too prefer a crisp single stage for precision but having the two stage gives a little more safty while using my carbine.

I have the 3-gun trigger and it is wonderful to shoot. Get the trigger that would fit you and don’t worry about the price, they are worth it. The safety is good like any other properly installed trigger.

IMHO the trigger and barrel are the two biggest factors for any precision rifle. Geiselle triggers are superb.

Found a guy selling Geiselles for less than just about everywhere. http://ar-15tactical.com/items/geissele-triggers/list.htm
SSA is $190, SSE $200 and the HighSpeed Nat'l match is $250.

Hmmm, is this true? This would be a concern to me. I don't want to go auto at the range.

Not going to happen.

The SSA is great for bump firing because it's a fairly light trigger pull. You don't need to worry about going F/A at the range.

What about in my .308? I want a Geiselle but I'm not 100% sure which one to get. In fact I'm sending the company an Email in a minute here.

All the Geissele triggers are great. The second stage of the SSA-E breaks like glass. You won't be disappointed. ;)

It should work just fine. Mine's being used in my LR-308 with DPMS BCG. Never had any problems with it and it was a straight drop-in replacement.

Clear communication with appropriate use of caps and punctuation will yield the best possible results on this forum. If you do not communicate clearly then you should not expect clear responses.

Look at your "Yelling" post, find the "Edit" button. Press that button and you can clean up the mess there.

Pretty much what he said. Posting in all caps looks very jarring. Just look at the way others type on the forums and you'll get a good idea of what is proper behavior.

For a fun and slightly mean-spirited education on proper "netiquette," I recommend reading TheOatmeal.com.

Damn this was fast I sent my Email a couple minutes after posting that and I had a Reply from them in like 15 minutes....

All our triggers set off 7.62 ammo with no problems. If you want to always prevent bump firing do not choose the Hispeed Match, the S3G or any of the Enhanced triggers

William Geissele

I just sent them an Email back saying... "So pretty much SSA?", cause that's about all I could find on there site that wasn't one of those triggers LOL.

Looks like this going to be an expensive project when done, with 11AR to fix the trigger.

So just do the ones that need it. One of my guns has a JP trigger, one a Rock River 2 stage the other 3 have stock-ish stuff with JP springs. I tune them to what works the best for the application. My 7.62 is probably going to get one form these guys.

I love the little slave pin that comes with the ssa. It is a valuable tool to keep. It makes putting the trigger in so much easier.
