Safe is approx 20 years old. Anybody know how to change it?

He's right. It's easier to call a locksmith. Just get one that's bonded.
Is the safe locked or unlocked? If it's unlocked then it's nearly trivial if you have the combo changing tool. Locked...then call the locksmith and $$.

What kind of lock does it have? I know on my old S&G locks that there is a hash mark at about 10:00 on the bezel and you use that and a change key to reset the combo. With the safe open it was a matter of dial in the combo on that 10:00 index mark, stuff the key in the hole in the back of the door, turn it 90 degrees, dial in the new combo utilizing the 10:00 mark, turn the key back, and then double check it using the regular index mark at 12:00.
If you do not have a change key or are not comfortable with the process then call a lock smith and have them do it.
