I'm just getting into hunting but I don't know any hunters myself and I want to see what everybody likes to use. Just trying to figure out what I should be getting. Advice appreciated

Binocular for sure! Have a look at the Nikon 8.5x45 Monarch, Nikon Monarch ATB 8x42, and the Bushnell 8x42mm Elite E2 Binocular w/ED Glass. All of these offer excellent clarity & brightness, reasonable magnification with plenty of field of view, good ergonomics, and fairly reasonable prices.

Get a decent day/back pack. You can add items as you find you need them. If your looking at binos take a look at the Zen Ray's. Got mine about a month ago and they are awesome. I hear the price will be going up soon.

Baby wipes. I always have a small pack of baby wipes in my pack and I have received several "Thank You's" for fellow hunters for sharing. Small bug repellant wipes are great also. Good knife. Matches or firestarter kits. Flashlight.
