I apologize if this is on here, I couldnt find anything related to this. Like how police officers are exempt from the handgun roster, how they can get high cap mags, etc. Are National Guardsmen exempt? I am currently filling out my Path to Honor application, and have a meeting Wednesday with the Sergeant. And am wanting to be a Military Police Officer. And was wondering if National Guardsmen were exempt? I am going to take a guess and say no.

i'm pretty sure the military exemption only applies to active duty military personnel.

Currently serving national guardsmen are considered "active military" for everything else I can think of.

I think the military exemption only applies if the weapon being purchased is to be used for offical duty. Not sure how one would document that, but I beleive that's how the exemption is stated.

That's a real bummer :(

I had really wanted to buy some Pmags to take on deployment with me, but I haven't found any loopholes yet that would let me buy them.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that. Where would be the best place to get rebuild kits? Ebay? Magpul only sells complete mags...

Widener's carries them, among others.
