I am out of room on my shelves and I dont want my pistols just floating around. so I was thinking how I saw some safes have pistol holders on the doors. I don't, but mine is carpeted. So how can I go about adding this? Any recommendations on any products, etc?

Lots of choices. Here's one ....

If velcro won't work, you may be able to come up with something using neodymium magnets. A single magnet from an old hard drive is strong enough to hold a small sledge hammer. I use them for hanging all kinds of tools and stuff in my garage. Maybe secure them to some kind of holster. Just a couple of them will be plenty strong enough to hang a pistol.

Just got a small one from Midway, like $13.

They make a bigger one, but I have a small safe.

Be sure to check how far your shelves stick out. I was shopping safes the other day and the guy made a point of saying how on some safes the shelves go right to the door when closed, hence no room to hang a pistol holder on the door.
