My guess is that it's just the PMR-30 converted to the carbine. Anticipated CA problems?

Looks like it would be too short with the stock collapsed.

.22mag in semis is always a problem...also if their PMR30 is unreliable why make a rifle outta it...just sayin I've seen a couple youtube vids an these seem to jam a lot!

Nordic will be the ones who pull off a .22 magnum semi auto AR style rifle.

But this is a rimfire, not a centerfire, so AW regulations do not apply. And federal is 26 inches with the sock extended. So length is not an issue. But the 30 round magazine is an issue.

Right?

cautiously optimistic. semi extraction of .22 mag has been problematic in past attempts.

Biggest prob will be the 30-round mags...Cali don't allow 'em.

A few have gotten it right over the years...most notably Marlin's 922...Grendel's R-31...

I did not understand, but then I found People v. Rooney (1993) 17 Cal.App.4th 1207 [21 Cal.Rptr.2d 900].

Thank you.

I am very excited about this rifle. Oleg Volk has quite a few photos up on his site. There are some youtube videos up with one of the KT guys testing it out during a competition.

When I was at Shot, the stock was either closed or completely open. The production model will have multiple positions built into the stock, hopefully they can do a reverse spacer that collapses to 26 inches. Maybe even have a spare mag storage spot like the PMR SMG

They can also do a four inch perm muzzle brake, factory 20 inch barrel or a fixed stock. Kel Tec is usually pretty CA friendly on their rifles.

I think a single stack 10 round "high reliability" mag would be popular all over.

I will probably buy this gun and I have accepted that it will probably have a ton of issues.

no, the biggest problem is its a keltec and will probably be a jam-o-matic :D

(lemme guess, sirens are blaring from the Keltec PD)

Short sight radius for iron sights, so not very accurate without a scope and ugly, ugly, ugly. Ammo is too expensive as a plinker for most people. If it can't do MOA @ 100yds I would pass. Wait for the CZ 512 in 22Mag, they'll get it right or they won't market it.

I'd prefer it in .22LR. Subsonic .22WMR isn't readily available and after leaving CA, I suppress every caliber I shoot. If it's going to be .22 supersonic, I'll stick with a suppressed 10.5" SBR AR.
