View Full Version : How many .22lr's do you own?

Dion

I have three.

The devil on my shoulder says to get another (something unique, like a bolt action, or a lever action, especially the lever :43:).

The angel on my other shoulder asks me "What's the point?". :TFH:

Hmmmm...

Get the lever. You won't be sorry :TFH:

I have six (if you count conversion kits)

Ruger 10/22
Ruger Mark II
Arminius Warrior (8-shot revolver)
Marlin 39a
1911 conversion kit
CZ-75 Kadet conversion kit.

.22's are awesome.

OMG...22s are my favorite. Hand guns I have 3 and am continually looking for a nice Colt Ace for #4. Rifles....probably 12 though lost of my shooting is with the 10/22. I've not gotten one of the AR 22's....that just doesn't seem fun to me

I too have recently found out about, and fallen in love with, the .22 round and guns. Right now, I just have...

S&W M&P 15-22 MOE
GSG 1911 .22LR Tactical

I'm looking into getting a 10/22 Tactical rifle (keeping it stock looking), and possibly picking up the S&W 317 snub nose revolver.

the browning t-bolt is pretty cool and unique, its like a cross between a bolt action and a lever, i shot my friends 1966 and it was awsome, the new ones they re introdueced in like 2007 are supposed to be really cool too

Not sure how many .22s I have, but they're fun. No recoil, yet even the mouseguns can be fairly accurate. Try one of these:

I haven't decided which is going to be my next one, go old school and look for a rifle that's either lever or pump action or go new and get one of the new tactical ones like the colt m4/m16.

1 for now

the S&W M41. planning to get the Pardini SP sometime this year.

cant afford to buy too many of them when they cost 1k and 2k respectively.

most people wont go over 500 on their 22s. i on the other hand wont go under 1k for mine.

to me, if i am going to use my .22 the most, then it makes sense for me to get the best equipment that i can afford.

If the economy doesn't improve, I'll be shooting a lot more .22 than I am already. It's a rare day shooting that .22lr isn't shot the most a it is. That centerfire ammo adds up, I'm sure I have more invested in ammo purchases than guns at this point.

looking to get a bolt .22 & a lever action down the road. I guess I should get at least one handgun in 22 too. I love my 22's cheap way to still go bang without getting $0 in the bank. This way I get to save up for my AR10 build :D

I own 4. I shoot 3. One is from 1915ish and the firing pin is broken.

Call me crazy, but I want to pick up a jennings 22a. Mainly because my mom has one and it's CHROME. That gun is so a pimp gun it's awesome. Too bad they aren't on the roster, and are under 'jimenez arms' now in NV.

Umkay. The right answer is "not enough", but my feeble memory says:
Marlin 60 and 795.
Romanian M69
Tula (pre-winchester)
Browning Auto.
S&W 22A
Roughrider
CZ MilTrainer (.17)

Next up has to be a Henry (probably a T, might have a hard time shooting a GB) or maybe a Ruger 10/22 (just to say I have one) or maybe an Anschutz? Actually one of just about everything would be nice.

I've got 3, or will this week.

A old Winchester 190 that was in a car I bought from a buddy in Florida years ago. He said to keep it. I just put a 4x32 scope on it and I'm putting a sling on it this week in preparation for Appleseed.

A Colt Woodsman .22lr that I bought from another buddy a long, long time ago. I just finished rebuilding it with new springs and she's working beautifully now. Had some FTF and doubling problems with it, due to a weak sear spring.

I'm picking up a Marlin 795 this week as a backup for Appleseed.

I have eight .22 LR so far. I'll probably end up getting quite a few more before the end of the year. I need to get another bolt gun (thinking CZ) and I would like to get a lever action.

I know they don't count but I have a couple 22 WMR and plan on getting two more of those before the end of the year.

You can't have too much ammo or too many firearms. If you have too much you are living in too small of a home.

Hmmm... wait a minute while I go downstairs to the big safe and count them.

Five rifles, three of those are 10/ 22s I've got set aside for projects ( M-1 carbine, G-36, and Morita ); the others are a Sig 522 and a Umarex M4.

Oh wait, I forgot one, its a mid 70s pump action carbine.

Also I have four pistols: Ruger Mk 1, Smith and Wesson 22A, H&R revolver, and a CZ 75 with the .22 Kadet slide.

What sling did you end up with? I have 2 190's I've been thinking about running in Appleseed but I'm not 100% sure how I want to do it.
