Why do our legislators have to be the polar opposite? They have plenty of Democratic Legislators that are 2A friendly there in South Carolina. Why do most of ours have to be so ignorant of the facts? I guess the real question is why the hell do I still live here?

South Carolina allows anyone (without a CCW) to carry a loaded handgun in the glove compartment of their vehicles.

. . . because major metropolitan area voters in CA, who carry most elections, would rather not confront part of their very constituency who commit most gun crimes. SC is still a largely rural and small town state and is more representative of honesty and common sense.

This is good. But doesn't SC essentially repeal the 2nd Amendment during a "State of Emergency?" (like a hurricane)

That's my home state - North Carolina. Alan Gura is about to finish fixing that though.

South Carolina makes it virtually impossible for an out of stater to carry. I believe there is a bill to fix that too running there.
