yeah no problem! I thought id share this since it does have a lot of important shooting tips. I liked the one where the instructor tell you once you draw, and take the safety off, pull the trigger to take the slack off while taking aim, then squeeze to shoot. I never knew that, im gonna try it next time at the range. ive always squeezed the trigger in one motion, by taking the slack of the trigger beforehand, it should minimize the any hesitation or movement I normally have before the trigger breaks and bullet goes down range.

Hope you're talking about practicing the bold while having the gun aimed down range and not practicing drawing the pistol and doing that at the same time, cuz it might get ugly.

It did gave alot of useful information, maybe you can practice at home with some dummy rounds??? Then once you get that down, do it at the range.

huh? did you watch the vids? i think its in the last one, like I said, safety off and take slack off the trigger. well i had over 5k on my 1911, so I know how much slack there is before the trigger breaks and the hammer drops. obviously it would be a good idea to try with snap caps 50-60 times before trying it with live ammo. Ive never taken the safety off unless im aiming at a target or down range, its just common sense....

OMG! Now look what you've done OP... Just DROS'd my Sig P239 today and have 30 more days to DROS my paid G19. Now I'm gonna have to go research and layaway a 1911... Any advice on a decent 1911 under $1,200? Kimber comes to mind but thinking about a Colt.

ive ALWAYS recommended a Springfield 1911 Loaded, and ive never heard any complaints on them, people just love em ad they are only $750-$800 on average. cant go wrong, and u have extra $400 or so from your budget for goodies/ammo. I dont like kimbers too much. I just never had much luck with em.

It was a friends opinion that's why I brought it up, but then again I've read some people don't consider Kimber's "true" 1911. Whatever that means. I really do like the looks of the Springfield loaded, that's why I asked for opinions :D.

You could always get a RIA Tactical 9mm. It won't be finished as nicely as a Springer Loaded but it should run 100% and still be pretty nice.
