Hey guys,
I have to admit... I've been stalking this forum for close to 6 months now! Thank you for all the advice and information! I am currently not a firearms owner, however, hope to be once I get some of my money back from uncle Sam! (Yes, I know, I waited to file for quite a while) Anyways, I'm glad to be part of the community now!

Welcome. Whenever I get a bunch of money (not too much lately), I buy something firearm related. Like a kid in the candy store. :-]

P.S. What are you going to buy?

Well it's not a bunch of money but it's a "bunch" of money I wasn't expecting this year! Haha. I'd like to get a handgun and/or shotgun. Leaning towards handgun. Iv tried a few simis and loved the XD45 the best so far...

Welcome to Calguns. Don't overlook buying a good .22lr rifle or pistol to start. They cost less to begin with and 500+ rounds of .22lr is about $20 at Walmart. All the skills you develop on a .22 translate directly to higher calibers and the low cost of the ammo means you can afford lots of range time.

Good luck.
