Need new hearing protection just for range use, and looking for something inexpensive in an electronic version. Saw Midway has these on sale.
Or the Howard/Leight Leightning L1 slimline?

Actually I bought a pair of the Caldwells and a pair of the Howard Leights to compare. Both were decent enough, but I don't feel like they provide enough protection to wear in an indoor range...it was uncomfortably loud. Next time I'll try bringing a set of foamies in addition.

I have them. There fine outdoors except maybe the Really BIG Boomers. As noted above indoors, I double up with foam plugs.
