Just got the .22 conversion for my Tanfoglio .45

I have no idea if it's any good, although it is a longer slide/barrel, and the sights are adjustable. The .45 IS accurate however, so this should be.

$160 new and no DROS. Came in the post this morning.

I am unreasonably excited.

Already looking at Cz-452's

DOH.

Enjoy. I shoot more .22 than anything else. Cheaper.
Now you need an AR .22 upper:D

I haven't got a lower!

Ah I see what you're doing there.

Actually, I'm a real cheapskate.

Ridiculous as it may sound, where rifles are concerned, I only want to reach the level of a British Army grunt of WW1 and WW2.

15 rounds into a man sized target at 200yds in 1 minute from an average enfield. That's probably not easy, but millions of Tommy's managed it.

I've seen loads of 7.62mm Ishapores in my price range ($250ish)
and just saw a lovely old .22 bolt action, for $135. Might have to get that one.

Operating the bolt whilst keeping a sight picture is the trick apparently.

I'll either buy that, or just keep renting from LA gun club. It's only $5 there, and if I'm already buying loads of .22 I'm quids in.
