I wanted to ask some help about a issue. I just bought a stag upper from a gun show this weekend I inspected everything but noticed I could not get the bolt to fling out like I have had in the past. Hard to explain but I took apart the whole bolt assembly cleaned and oiled it and it still seems like it sticks I have to pull the bolt out of the assembly. I hope my terminology isnt too bad but wanted to ask if maybe this would clear up after a few rounds or is this a gun smith question?

As in a smooth movement of the bolt in the bcg?

dont worry about it, it's probably just the gas rings being tight. it should not hinder operation.

New, tight gas rings, it will loosen up.

Yes the Bolt doesnt come out of the bolt carrier group very easily. I had an M16 for a long time before when I took the bolt apart I would test it by pushing the bolt in the BCG then fling it out to make sure its loose. As much as a I oil or clean this new one it wont do that but again I havnt tried to fire it either

you should probably just shoot it then.
