I waited 40 days for this little beretta .22 and I took it to the range once and was bored with it already is it normal for a dealer to have to keep a gun for 30 days + 10 days dros?

It was on consignment. The owner must have just brought it in to the shop when you bought it. It has to sit for 30 days before it can be released. I think some shops will combine the last 10 days of the 30 day hold with the 10 day waiting period thus it's out in 30 days. It's a fun little pistol. Just keep the chamber clean and use a higher velocity ammo. c good

I had the same thing for my used walthers p22 i`m picking up on thurs finally! I had to wait 30 days for police to run a background check on the gun and then I have to wait 10 DROS. this was at turners. I`ve almost forgot what the gun looks like already.
