ok, I should have kept my lip zipped. You can sometimes find some good reviews on youtube for stuff like that.

And I am saying if you cruise youtube you might find a similar set up in action. Their search function is fantastic.

Btw, that gun looks evil, good job.

Why not just put your light on the other side? Seems pretty simple.
If you get an offset light mount and hang it lower you can naturally activate it with your thumb.

Advancements in 2 Point tech have made 3 points obsolete in my opinion. Try a BFG or Ares Huskey.

if i put the light on the other side nothing changes in how the 3 point sling mounts
i dont think you understand how a 3 point works

That Ares Armor Hukey sling looks pretty well thought out. At $46, it doesn't break the bank either.

If you're right handed, it will mount along the left side. Your light is in the way where it is.

This.

Move your light to the other side, and then a 3-point sling will work. As-is, it will be a mess, and sling will be blocking the light. If you really want the light on the left hand side, you could get a rail mounted sling swivel and put it behind the light, but I don't know how that would affect the operation of the sling.

3 point slings were cool back in the 80's when they were the thing to rock but they are dated now. I'd go with a 2 point set up such as the Blue Force Gear VCAS or the Viking Tactics 2 point. BFG has a sling loop that allows you to attach a sling @ the rear of your HG's or through your FSB like shown in the pictures below.

There is some good info posted on 1 & 2 point slings in this thread:

Use this mount(or one like it. You can get a cheapie version for $15 or so). Put your light in the same slot on the other side, then move your VFG to a slot where it's just behind the back of your light and your thumb will reach it easily without being cramped. It will be very efficient.

If anyone says don't do it because you can't shoot like Travis Haley, just flash them with your light and slap them across the face.

3 point will work just fine. It really comes down to preference though. Just gotta try them all and find out what works best for you. I personally find 3 points get in the way a lot of the time but thats me... I really like how they hang though. It is all compromise.

If you are only getting the 3 point sling for LOOKs, thats fine but they are far from ideal. Two of the biggest cons of running 3 point slings are : They tend to hang up your kit big time & For a right hand shooter they can interfere with controls and for a left hander they block your weapons ability to eject rounds.

Just my .02

roger that 3 points are a big gigantic pain in the rear. and remember kids K.I.S.S. annother thing that helps too is using ordie(90mph) tape to stick your torch onto your rifle. it works great, its cheap and its light weight. want a vfg we used to get polymer rails that screwed into our handguards from supply. cut a 2 inch section off and go to town.

If you run a sling loop like the one from BFG @ the end of your HG's then a 3pt would work for your setup. But as stated previously by multiple Calgunners, 3 Points Suck & there are Better slings setups out there.

Good Luck
