Hey guys!

CETME takedown pins, the two at the back. How hard should they be to get back in? They are stiff. I was thinking about whacking them with a rubber mallet but I thought I should ask before I do that.

No. The metal used in the pins is VERY sensitive to rubber. I think its a carbon zinc plated tin. It'll snap after maybe 2 or 3 hits.

Century Arms Cetme? My buddy needs a pin punch and a rubber mallet for his. If you don't want to do this, I suggest using a dremel to polish out the sleeve pin hole. Century isn't great about the welds on their receiver and the hole isn't uniform. Did this with my Century Arms C93 sporter, after that, removing the rear take down pin was easy.

Ok it needs some force then to get them in and out. I could slightly round out the sleeve pin hole with a dremel. Yes, it's a century. : )
