Has anyone shot the Barrett M82A1 in .416 yet?

If so what dealers in CA sell them? I live in San Diego area and most of the dealers I am familiar with will not even address the subject or want way too much above MSRP published by Barrett.

I shot it at the Raahaugs (sp?) Shooting event last year. It was pretty cool.

Contact schyver gun sales in IL (google them for their phone number) and have them ship it to riflegear

I'm really interested in 416 round myself. I have a 50 cal receiver registered with the state but the more I think it, the less I want a 50cal. I was set on the 408chy for a while but the 416 is looking easier to get supplies for.

If your .50 is a barret you might be able to get a .416 upper from barrret.

Why not get a .338 LM? Seems to be the new sniper round on the block. Rounds will be cheaper also!!

I already have the Rem 700 in 338LM and love shooting it, and it does hold up very well out to the 1200yds I shoot. I also load for it which is the only way to own that gun.

I own an MP5 Class III MG in another state, and would like to sell it, but no one is paying $18K for MG right now. So I was thinking of doing a trade for something that I could have in CA, that will hold some value and can be upgraded to 50cal when not in the PRC.

Yes I have and would frankly rather have a 33LM.
