I shoot my handguns in the LAX firing range, but they don't allow birdshot with shotguns.

For cost reasons, I'd like to fire birdshot with my shotgun. Where can I do this in LA?

Dont know of any indoor ranges, but Burro allows shotguns, and I'm almost positive Angeles does as well.

The only indoor range I know of that allows birdshot is in Brea. It's near the 57 freeway and Lambert. Although I'm not sure if that location is too far for where you're looking to shoot. Good luck!

You can check with www.insightrangeinc.com. They allow shotguns, just not sure of ammo. Great group of people and nice range. They are in Artesia at the 91 & 605 freeways.

Come up and shoot it at Angeles Ranges.

I'm going to Burro canyon this weekend for the first time, but from the description (no water/only porta potties) and other people's comments, it sounds like a dump

Angeles Ranges all the way.

I just called Insight Range and they told me that they allow birdshot, but you have to purchase it through them.

I was at burro last saturday blasting away and it's not that bad. Yes only porta potties but they have tables now and you can blast away at bowling pins and bring your own targets, just pick it up after its blown to bits

That's where I go. Great place gets a lot of n00bs there on the weekends. Week days are perfect.

I took my 870 there the day I bought it. You need to buy there ammo ($10 for 5).

Is that for birdshot or buckshot? Their website says 5 for $3 and 10 for $5. If that's for buck, then that's not too bad. If that's for birdshot then >

That's strange. I've never bought ammo through them.

I had it backwards. It is 10 for $5 :)

It is birdshot.
