There are several parts of the Helmke presentation linked in a previous post. The third "debunks" the oft-quoted "more guns less crime" phrase. Helmke resorts to a very clever morph of the issue: he compares gun crimes in a state with high gun ownership to a state with severe gun control. When discoursing with antigunners, it's important to keep the focus on all violent crime, which generally is lower in states respecting RKBA. This is obvious to us, but not so to the casual, undecided observer.
