Wow, I wish I had some money G&A has added more M39's many minty ones..
My "B" barrelled M39 is a favorite.
Maybe next month.
Great to look at http://gunsnammo.com/

The B barrels are among the best for accuracy. I keep looking for one with a tiger striped stock. There was a beauty on auction arms last month but it went for 500+. Out of my league at that price but I keep looking.
1943 SK.Y by Sako with a 1895 Tula receiver. very nicely figured stock.
these are lovely rifles. :)

Thats a keeper. Hope it shoots half as good as it looks. I don't think it will be long before the this latest shipment of Finns are gone. Supposedly the Finnish arsenals are about out, but that could be a sales pitch.

I hope not, since I still need to get a Finn rifle or three.

If I do not have a C&R License, do these need to be shipped to an FFL?

The Following Antique Rifles have receiver dates of 1898 or before and are considered Antiques by the Gun Control Act of 1968. We will sell these to individuals over the age of 21 that send us a copy of their drivers license or any ffl by mail, fax or e-mail. Shipment will be made to the address on their drivers license or FFL. Submission of a drivers license or FFL by the individual will represent that they are not an illegal drug user, fugitive from justice, illegal alien or a convicted felon. Dates on the bottom of the tang of the rifles identify them as antique rifles. No shipments to New Jersey, New York City, District of Columbia or Hawaii ( without permit or ffl ). THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN
PRE 1898 OR POST 1898 RECEIVERS IN STRENGTH OR DURABILITY.

I picked one up a couple of weeks ago and it is very nice. It was hard to justify spending $300 on a Mosin but 100% bluing and wartime stock should make this rifle a nice one to pass to the next generation.

The Finn Mosins should be worth it, if what I've heard about their accuracy is true.
