You want ALL the shotgun shells in the world? That's gonna take a long, long time.

But why don't we start a list, and keep it moving as we add more and more shells? In that case, I shall start off.

ps.. Something I just thought of, these are American sizes since other countries have their own rating system. If we want more detail, I can look up shot size in inches and assign them if there is interest.

Then you have to factor in shell size and ounce load.

- 1 3/4" Aguila Minishells
- 2 3/4"
- 3"
- 3 1/4"

Plus the type of projectile itself (steel or lead) and how much of the projective is inside. The ounce load of birdshot/buckshot can change per brand. Not to mention the specialty "MAGNUM" loads with extra power/kick.

Then the saboted slugs each have different shapes designed differently.

Plus theres like 20 different BRAND NAME specific shells. Like this one called "pirahna" which was actually a shell that shot shrapnel like buck.

"bull dog" which had a light load of buckshot in front of a slug.

Honestly... Too many to properly list.

...and had to add this to get the stupid "10 character minimum" in order to post.

Don't forget to add "Season Shot - Ammo with flavor" to the list.

http://www.seasonshot.com/

Season Shot is made of tightly packed seasoning bound by a fully biodegradable food product. The seasoning is actually injected into the bird on impact seasoning the meat from the inside out. When the bird is cooked the seasoning pellets melt into the meat spreading the flavor to the entire bird. Forget worrying about shot breaking your teeth and start wondering about which flavor shot to use!

OK what if you hit a large and a small bird with the same load is one giong to be better seasoned than the other? What if you change your mind and dont want terriyaki? How do you explain to the robber in your house that he is not in good taste but will taste good?

Please explain Pidooma.

Is this a joke, or do they actually mean it? I actually looked at the whole website, and nowhere can I find any hint that this is just a prank. On the other hand, they say the product should be available August 11, and it isn't yet. And none of the questions in their FAQ are answered.

It sure sounds like a joke, but who knows.

Someone posted the text of a newspaper article on another forum:

http://www.nodakoutdoors.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=220338

Maybe that August 11th release date has fallen prey to the "In two weeks!" syndrome.

On a related topic, is there a web site with pictures of shot patterns of different types of loads?

It would be interesting to see exactly how the pattern is for different shell types....

I figure it would be the same category as a light frangible shot. I believe it would have enough power to kill a bird.

BUT, fact is you still have to defeather the bird which usually requires hot water and cutting it open to remove the gizzards inside.
