You need at least 2-3k more in ammo. And an ak and ar15. And some handguns like a 1911 and glock. Congrats on the addiction. This will be the end of you.

It's just the beginning. I'd spend about another $100 on ammo to feed them. Turners has the 333 packs of Winchester .22 for about $11 bucks. I think there is a 2 per customer limit though. Walmart usually has them for the same price with no limit where I'm at. Happy shooting!

Good call on the Rough Rider. With Hornadys 45gr. 22 mag (not yet availible) or Speer Gold Dot 40 gr. that supposedly can reach ~1000 fps in a 2" NAA pistol, that's gotta be what, 1500 fps-ish in the 6.5". You get your plinker and near 9 mm (guesstimate based on the 9mm kurtz comparison out of a 2" barrel) terminal performance if you ever needed it.

Marlin bolt action probably will do really well with the subsonic aguila 60 gr. and the 795 (which at $150ish OTD is awesome) with aguila interceptor 40 gr.s @ ~1450 fps. I'm tending to go aguila more than CCI, I think their use of Eley primer is much more of a sure bet. Aguila spent cases have a much more substantial mark where the firing pin hit. In the same rifle.

You will at some point yearn for a centerfire semi pistol at some point. There is hope though. Once you find your niche (Mine is the 7 minute drive indoor range charges $30 for unlimited use for 30 days(!) and lets you bring your own paper targets, use aluminum case ammo) you'll probably settle down and find satisfaction. Hopefully your niche isn't big game hunting. That'll be like 4 more purchases :D
