If I post a question on a thread and it gets answered am I supposed to close the thread or just leave it be? If I am to close it, How do I????

leave it be. If there is nothing to elaborate on it will fade away into the archives. If the thread needs to be shut down, a Moderator from CG will do it

Only moderators can close a thread. If your thread has run it's course and nothing can/should be added, it will fall to the bottom of the forums and will be left alone. Unless it turns into a bicker-fest and rules get broken, there's no reason to close/lock it.

THIS LOOKS LIKE A JOB FOR... nevermind.

Yeah what the other guys said. Normally we don't lock/delete threads unless they're trainwrecks, completely inappropriate or other extreme reason. If you accidentally post something in the wrong forum (happens a lot) report the post using the little red triangle icon in the upper right of each post. We can then move it to the correct forum or if you've already started a new thread, we can delete it for clean-up.
