wspp = win small pistol primer, ww= win case.

I use RP brass, 6.0 gr wsf and 180 gr berrys. about 1020 fps. Shoots good, and fairly cheap for the berrys.

Whats your velocity? Do you know.

Is it really worth getting a crono to check them if your not going to do that much developed your "own" load

Ya know I am not sure. I need to run it through my buddies Crono.

Do you run something similar?

Bullet: Bear Creak Moly Coated 180gr
Brass: Any
Primer: CCI400 (Small rifle primers)
Powder: Alliant Unique
Charge: 4.5gr
COL: 1.125"
This is just barely a major PF load.

Same load but with 3.5gr of titegroup is a nice minor PF load. Depending on the gun you might have to go up to about 3.8gr. This is low enough that you'll need a lighter recoil spring though.

If you like em REAL hot, I've loaded up to 5.4gr and hit 1050fps. That's a hair faster than gold dots run out of my gun. Didn't see any reason to try and get more out of it.

Also seems like 180 is crowd favorite followed by 155

I know you get speed from cronies do you have to math the force or can you measure it to

Force of what? Recoil force or energy of the round?

Energy of the round is fairly simple. KE=.5*m*(v^2). Just remember grains and pounds are not MASS, they are weight, so to get the KE you need to convert grains into slugs, the imperial unit of mass, then use fps for V. Will spit out a number in ft-lbs

You know I don't speak Spanish Baxter English please lol

Thank you but that's steeply out of.my league for mathematical equation :TFH::kest:

If that's out of your league, you ought to hit up your 6th grader.
It's simpler than it looks all typed out.

KE is kinetic energy
.5 is a constant
m is mass. You can convert grains into slugs by dividing by 225,225
v is your velocity in fps, times itself(squared)

KE=(.5)(180gr/225,225)(1050fps)(1050fps)
KE=441ft-lb

That's what 180gr Speer Gold Dot's give out of my gun.
