In light of these recent school shootings, do you guys think we are going to see more firearm legislation? maybe even the return of the Federal assault rifle ban? I personally don't think we will see another AW ban but i do see individual states beefing up the own laws like Cali. You're thoughts please.

It depends who wins the elections. If Dems. then yes. If Republicans then may be.

I don't know who the dems will have running, but theres a huge chance they win this upcoming presidential election as for govenor ahnold won't push for any pro-gun laws because it might break his upcoming campaign and hes on the boarder because hes a republican and the dems are twisting his goals around.

If the dems run hillary for prez, they will lose and they know that but if she does decide to run anyways with another democratic candidate she will split the vote for the dems and give victory to the republicans.

If the republicans run Condi Rice then theres a chance as she would easily beat the dems out of the minority votes/woman voters of both dem/repub side.

Maybe Howard Dean will run again... YEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Just an opinion but... Both women are smart, but I think Rice is a whole lot smarter than Hillary. Tougher too.

Not just smarter, but more honorable, respectable and honest.

Id say that if you lie down with dogs you get fleas but I am sure billary is not lying down with slick willie... not that I would say anything bad about the CLINTON CRIME MOB and if I am crossing the line, please feel free to edit and delete my comment.

Because of the N.O. firearm confiscations after Katrina hit and other world events alot of folks have security on their minds so the fervor to ban is'nt a hot topic for politicians at the moment.

I'll catalogue that as gun owner fantasy #1,015 Howard Dean for President 2008 right next to gun owner fantasy #1,016 Hillary Clinton for President 2008.

It would be awesome if they ran a sure loser like Howard Dean or Hillary Clinton in 2008 but it probably won't happen. But then again, they were stupid enough to run Angelides this year so who knows what the future will bring :D!

It's going to be Republican candidate Dr. Condoleezza Rice Vs. Semi-Republican candidate John McCain. There is a chance McCain will run as a Democrat, but it is more likely he will run as an Independent after Hilary's campaign implodes.

I'm afraid McCain will win. He'll fight for "common sense" gun laws.

Then he will force the United States to surrender to Vietnam.
