I just wanted to introduce myself. I've hit the page up as a lurker while doing some leisurely reading and research during my semi-recent newfound gun and hobby intrests and have finally decided to join the roster with additional persuasion from Matt Pimentel.

Matt has been instramental in getting me squared away and I'm sure this will be one more thing I can thank him for later down the road.

I'm in Fresno. I like the idea of honing shooting as a skill and love dual sport riding. The more dirt and off the beaten path the better.

Thanks for the knowledge base and catch ya later!

Layne, thanks for introducing yourself, welcome to Calguns. I've been interested in dual-sports for a while, just sold my most recent sport bike not too long ago. What do you ride?

Thanks !

Greasemonkey: After drooling over bikes for about 5 years I decided on a dualsport. I ride a bmw 650 xchallenge. I'm relatively new to riding and have been riding a little less than 5 years. Riding and learning offroad has been hard on the bike but excellent for my skill for both on and off road.

My @$$ has forced me into a small haitus (visited a friend in Washington recently and went up the 1 the entire way and then down along the eastern side of WA and OR along the high desert) but with gas prices going up it's hard not to like the idea of paying 9 bucks a week vs. 60.

It leaves more moolah for ammo/training!

Colt: Good to be here! I don't know why people think it's such a rotten place! Near great national parks, beach, LA/SF, desert, can't beat it!
