How do you zero an acog? I used to zero my aimpoint at the 50yd mark for the improved battlesight zero, would the same apply to the ACOG or do I zero at the 100?

It'd be for the Acog ta01

Check the manual as I think it's a 100m zero due to the BDC.

You zero it like you zero any other sight or optic - fire off a group of three and then adjust accordingly.

The easy way is to simply zero at the range you plan to use the optic at most, so don't overthink it.

Ummm yea,
That all sounds fine and dandy except the ACOG has a BDC reticle that needs to be zeroed POA/POI at 100 yards to be effective. Nice try though.

Not all ACOGs have a BDC reticle. The OP did not specify which one he had.

He mentions the TA01 in his first post. That unit has a BDC out to 800m and IIRC, the manual states a 100m zero.

Doh!

You're right. My bad.

i believe the BDC acogs can also do a 33 yard zero for the 300 yard drop mark
