Would a H&R Topper 158 in .22 Rem Jet, Mfg date unknown but know it was stopped being make in the 60's from what I have been able to read, would it be considered a C&R?
Thx for any positive contributing info.
I threw in a few pics..
You'd have to look for a serial number to see if it's 50 years old. If it has a serial number it is not C&R because an H&R Model 158 made before 1963 did not have serial numbers on the reciever. Serial numbers started in 1963. And it looks like the 22 Jet was made through 1974.

Thanks for the reply. Found a book that pretty much explained all that but did not pinpoint a date for me. I'll have to look around and see if I can find it or let the buyer if they are at all interested. I am selling this for a friend again anyway so I will do what I can without busted it too much..\
thank you again
