So I walked into addax tactical earlier today with the intention on buying a buffer tube, castle nut and plate. I look down and saw a pistol on consignment, I ask to take a look and fell in love. I walked in to buy parts to finish my lower and walked out with a Ruger P95DC.

Damn it. Now ima have to wait longer to finish my AR. But this is my first pistol so I'm excited.

You have to justify it is all, put it in perspective. Your AR would have been lonely by itself. Now you'll have a nice compliment to the rifle. Enjoy!

I don't feel bad about it because I know its another decent investment. I just hate that it was my upper saved money. Lol.

funny i own a P95 and i can tell you this once you get it out of jail you'll love it. the best thing i can tell you about it is, when you go to tear it down always make sure you push the lever down otherwise you'll regret it BIGTIME!!

as for the parts you need in the end it will be worth the extra wait.....

My first pistol was a stainless finish beretta 96fs its a great pistol. I've abused the **** out of it and I've payed for it also. In about 7 years of owning it and thousands and thousands of rounds thru it I've broke the shell extractor (the notch that grabs the shell sheared off) the pin that holds the trigger into place kept backing out and the lever that you push the button and slide the lever to field strip it broke.

I have the same one. Put many rounds through the bad boy and not one hiccup. Very very reliable.

I have a P89DC and I like it very much. I prefer my XD40v10 but the Ruger is nice.

It is no sin to have a back-up side arm. Think pig hunting when that angry wounded sow gets you in sights and charges.

I'm extremely happy with the buy. But now it just sucks that my AR is gonna take longer to build. But I've already got rigle to shoot. I needed a pistol to complete my small arsenal.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for making this post, as I too, had been saving my money and I DID complete my AR upper. When confronted with the choice of do I complete my upper or buy the needed Springfield XD? :hurray: Willpower did at this time only payoff. (for once only), LOL.

Congratulations on a fine purchase!

Sadly understanding,

I have one and love it. It shoots super accurately and has little recoil. Cool buy!

It's great that ADDAX has its full licensing now -- what else was for sale?>

They had a S&W M&P .40, a Phoenix Arms .25 and some sort of S&W revolver. I've been in there a few times and they always have a good selection of pistols.
