Here's a good Gun Safe Buyers' Guide (http://www.6mmbr.com/gunsafes.html).

That take down safe they showed would have been real nice in my multiple moves but I am quite happy with my Liberty safe. It weighs 635# and two big guys can move it off a truck albeit not safely, but it can be done. I am also able to move it around the house myself with some struggle. I'm probably going to be buying another matching one with left handed door sometime in the future and the kit that bolts them together. My wife uses quite a bit of room in it and she is always wanting more room. Like I always say, find the size you need and then double it. It will get used.

Nice find! Bookmarked.

Mods - any way to add this link someplace more-or-less permanently? It answers a lot of FAQs.

Good to know!

My safe does most of the good stuff in the video, except the bolts - when pushed on, they retract. :(

What impressed me was the link to Brown Gun Safes (http://www.brownsafe.com/categories/8266D25C-C46C-0B4F-FC1E60A0CF75DF94/features_and_options.htm). I had never heard of that company; they don't advertise in the gun mags, I think, but they build safes with one inch thick walls!
