I'm thinking i'd like to build an ar-15 that looks like the NAM issued m16. I'm thinking an A2 kit is perfect but where do I get the triangular NAM handguards and will they fit an A2 kit?

I see the stuff you are looking for on AR15.com sometimes.They also have a retro forum where you can find lots of info.

Get the A1 kit from SARCO. I got one, looks good to me and preforms nicely. CDNN had some, but they might be out.

They also have the triangle handgaurds, but the CDNN upper already comes with those.
