View Full Version : Speed Loading a Kali Legal AR

New to the site. Have my Kalifornia Legal AR built, broken in and played with about 250rounds down.

Any suggestions on speed loading these guys? I looked at the treads here but did not see anything on it. Maybe because there is really no way but to load round by round. AR15 guys suggest stripper clips, but since our Kali guns are fixed mags the stripper clip guide will not fit. Any devices or contraptions out there? Thanks.

You didn't look hard enough, here's the thread:

Plan B is to remove any telestock, flash hider (gotta keep min bbl length to 16"!), pistol grips, etc.

Then, using a regular 'A2' stock you install a MonsterMan grip which legally can in no way be considered a CCR 978.20-defined pistol grip as it merely allows a regular rifle-style grip.

In this new configuration you can legally use detachable magazines.

I was hoping not to bust out with the dremel....but I guess either I get rid of my pistol grip and have detachable mags or get fancy.
