I really like the Blackhawk SERPA Drop Leg Tactical Holsters but I don't want to drop that kind of money on a holster. I've been lurking around Amazon and found this Tac Force Uni-Tac Thigh Holster (http://www.amazon.com/Force-Uni-Tac-Thigh-Holster-Black/dp/B000AAN5VQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1296042657&sr=1-1) but haven't found a decent review on it yet. LMK what you guys think about it or if there is something better I'm open for suggestions.

I just got one sort of like that recently at a gun show for $25.

Do you own and Blackhawk SERPA holsters? I had two and when I wanted a thigh rig for those guns I bought the Blackhawk Tactical Holster Platform (http://www.blackhawk.com/product/Tactical-Holster-Platform,814,112.htm) that allows me to use my existing SERPA holsters with it. Cost was about $55 for the platform.

I know it's not as secure as other thigh rigs like a Safariland 6004 or the actual Blackhawk thigh holster but I'm not using this setup to jump out of a helicopter.

No I don't have a SERPA, I like it though the only problem with it is that if you want the drop leg system it's more money. It's almost $100 for the entire setup, that's almost 4 times the price of the TacForce.
