I was looking at the LRB lower and it had some markings where your grip should secure to that said J V Precision Machine so I went to that website and found that they make some other neat stuff including the DoubleStar lower.

I know Ive seen the JVP symbol before on another lower but I cant place it.

Anyhow here is a few pics of other parts they make.

My DoubleStar doesnt have the JVP sybol.

Man, talk about confusing. I thought at first you'd typo'ed JP Precision, but now it turns out there actually IS a JV Precision.

Did they do this on purpose?

They're one of two companies which makes the lowers for DoubleStar, the finish on each is very different too. I have the non JV ones and frankly I'm a lot fonder of that surface finish than the one JV uses.

Yea, mines made in Kentucky, not CT.:)

I wonder if JVP is a Govt contractor or not? They seem to have Bolt parts as well.

JVP also makes LRB AR lowers.

The JV are not finished as nice as the LAR manufactured Double Stars....
