Remember, it's not legal with the folder or the 20 rounds mags. So it would be 395 for a blued mini with 1 mag.

I've seen SS ranch models at gun shows for $350 with no magazines before. What is so special about this one? Especially since you can't import the magazines as new ones or use the folding stock?

Comes with free barn doors for precision targets.

LOL! Over the years I've had several mini-14's and 86ed them all for poor accuracy.

Bill,

Even if you were shooting inside the barn, you still might not hit it! lmao

I remember hearing some bit about making the folding stock into a fixed lightweight stock.

The guy could probably ship it to you dissaembled.

I have to speak up in support of the poor Mini 14, since no one else is willing to.

Mine shoots well enough at inside 100 yards, which is where all my shooting for the last two years has been. IIRC, it probably shoots well enough inside 250.

The only real accuracy mods I've made to it were to add a few shims to the stock to make sure the receiver was tightly bedded and to shoot it a bunch to smooth up the trigger.

--IF-- you aready have reliable full capacity mags it's a reasonable CA legal close range carbine.

Still illegal due to the pistol grip.
