I had a question about transporting so called registered assault type rifles inside of a vehicle. Do they have to be treated like they are a handgun locked up and secured as the law describes or can they just be kept in a unlocked rifle case inside the vehicle in the same compartment area as the driver or passengers? This is something thats never been clarified. Thanks in advance..

The law requires reg'd AWs....
1) to be transported locked and unloaded.
2) to be transported btwn specific authorized destinations only.
No such thing as cruising around with "truck gun" AWs. This means
transport between your home and places with express permission -
the range, your buddy's house, etc. "Out of state" is also a valid
