Rep. Peter King (R-NY) wants to introduce a bill to make it illegal to posses a gun within 1000ft of an elected official. We're not just talking about Senators and Congresscritters here, this bill includes Judges and many other unknown elected officials.

So, if im sitting in a Denys restaurant with my pistol legally concealed on my person (not likely here in Commiefornia), and a district court judge walks in.....BAM!!!!....i'm a felon?

Is this constitutional? Can it possibly even pass? Are we already fighting this?

EDIT: damn...how do you insert a link?

Very unlikely to pass due to the sheer number of elected officials.

Tolink there's a little icon shaped like a globe with a couple "links" of chain, click, paste URL, done. If you highlight words when you click the link, it makes those words the text of the link while still pointing to the site.
