Group buy says over, but i clicked on link and ordered one. Will see what happens. "Impulse Buy"!!!

My 551 took a dump because battery leaked..... dang it. So this will replace that one.

Thanks

Dont feel to bad.. I "paid" for mine last night before the cut off..

I was fairly excited as i thought i was going to be getting the Eotech 512-A65 for about 270 shipped... guess what, that wasnt the price. The link that was there, is to pay the "remainder" of the balance..

Originally, you needed to have gotten the offer direclty from combatvet on arfcom... that link was suppose to collect 55 dollars as a deposit... the 2nd link that you see\saw is to pay the remainder.. 55 plus 265.. ehh thats 320 for a sight that retails for 350ish.. not the best pricing.. :(

I found this out because SKD Tactical (the vendor handling the orders) called me and told me about it.. I thanked him for his time and humbly asked for a refund.. To their credit, SKD was very very friendly and professional about the whole matter..

How many group buys have to go wrong until people figure out they often aren't worth it? $320 isn't a bad price, but depending on what shipping is, you can probably find it just as cheap. Heck, I sell my 512s for $335, but you still have to pay tax.

$320 was the shipped price. The EOthingy was $310 + $10 shipping.

I have to admit, i did some searching after this happened and your price is very good 10% if thats your standard price..

but i agree, in this case, teh group buy just wasn't 'all that'.. lesson of the day, no more impulse buys, despite how 'good' they may seem.. the ARFCOM GB was a good deal, but nothing to write home about..

Heck, if things go real well with Russia, you might be selling Kobras a lot cheaper!

I bought a Kobra; it worked great for about nine months and now it won't hold zero.
