It's the sickness!!! It'll get to you man... I've been staving it off for almost 3 months now. The only reason it hasn't killed me yet is that I have no money to feed it. :(

Keep in there man, stay strong.

As your personal physician I prescribe an 03 FFL and a road trip to J&G Sales in Prescott, AZ. Repeat the road trip portion until your condition improves. No need to call me in the morning.

I've found there is no cure, not with MNs, not with c&r. You just@have to wait it out... and make more money to support the habbit

It's one of a number of syndromes.
Others include lever fever, the money-draining 1911 complex, and FAL binging.

Yes, I can attest to that. Not at the $1K point yet but getting close. My first C&R was a 91/30, un-restored beater from B&E (I think) cash and carry, no DROS fo $60. That was the beginning. I bought my brother a Lee-Enfield at the same time which got him started.

After all the variants I bet the next thing you'll be wanting is a nice Finn MN, right?:D

Oh believe me, I know. I just got my first CMP Garand, a beautiful HRA with original wood, and now I'd like an SA one... and a nice Finn Mosin... my poor checking account... :o

Lol couldn't help but notice your signature.
If you listen to that song on the repeat of the chorus she says "pa-pa-pa f*** her face". I didn't believe it at first either.

Also Lady Gaga is a talented pianist and vocalist. She was accepted to Julliard at 17, but turned it down to go to some other fancy school and be one of only 20 people in history to be accepted before they were 18.
If you look up her performances before she was Lady Gaga she is one of the best pianists I have heard to date. I was pretty surprised/impressed to find all this out.

Mosins are like good potato chips.

If you want another you could try a Finnish M-39, they're everything that needed to be improved on the original 91/30s. Better sights, better stock, heavier barrel, and accurized.

If you really get into the surplus rifles and don't want to spend too much money, try a Yugo Mauser and maybe an Enfield or a Swis K-31. All good rifles and all can be bought for two or three bills. Take good care of them and they'll last a long time.

I'm not fighting very hard, I'm weakening. Why not? For the price, I couldn't get anything else as fun and as well made.

That's what I tell myself anyway

Here is another train of thought. Keep looking at the Marketplace section for M38's & M44's. Same inexpensive ammo but with free fireballs. Here is a Youtube video:

Oh yeah, don't for get the "place holder" excuse when buying. Like: "That one isn't exactly what I wanted as representation of the arsenal/date/style but I think I'll buy it anyway to fill in the gap."

I've got a Chinese SKS place holder that's waiting for a Sino-Soviet model to spring up.:p

After I bought my first Mosin Nagant (m38), I've been itching for a 91/30 or a 44. I thought buying an AK would help, but it doesn't. Now I want another AK, and another Nagant, though the rash for a new Nagant is worse... I just wish the non magnetic ammo wasn't so expensive.
