marks on my 91/30. looked at descriptions at 7.62x54r.net and only got WHAT they are..not so much of a meaning...

-Soviet Crest on receiver
It was made by the Soviet Union as opposed to another country.
- Izhevsk Arrow in Triangle all over bolt and one on receiver
It was made in the Izchevsk factory.
- Tula Star on Bolt Body
Bolt body was made in the Tula factory
- "K" point of aim proof
I believe this is the final proof mark before it entered service.
- something that looks like a square shape "U" in a box
Got a photo? Not sure by description.
- Diamond with an "L" in it
Photo again would help.

THANKS!

Hope that helps

the U in the box is a black powder test proof

Does the "square U" look somewhat like this Ц ?
It's the letter "C" in cyrillic alphabet. It might be the sign of technical inspection/quality control.
