View Full Version : Need ID on these ASAP

O.K. fellas... need some help I.D.'g these two rifles. I might buy one of them, but want to make sure of what they are.

They're the same model, different stamps, but not sure what they are. My guess is Turkish Mausers. They are my friends, but he was told they were Mosins. I'm sure they are not.

What can you tell me about them just based on the photos?

Yes they are good rifles. I have a few that i shoot occasionally. Looks like those need a little cleaning. Check the bores

I noticed the bolts and receivers were mismatched on both rifles, You might want to have the headspace checked before you fire either one.

Be carefull some of those turks were converted to 308 and they are POS.Google turk mauser and click on this websight turk mauser home and they list how to ID them.

Am I missing something because I see nothing about a .308 conversion on that website
