What kind of paper work do you guys recommend carrying with your OLL? Any document stating that it's a legal 10 round fixed mag to the people that might try to harass you at the range?

One more thing i forgot to mention. If you are out hunting with your legal OLL fixed 10 round mag and a fish and game warden happen to come by, would he question about your fixed 10 round OLL?

Just want to know, that's all. Thanks for answering my question fellas.

I have a slightly different take on which docs one needs. I would bring the CALIFORNIA AR/AK "SERIES" ASSAULT WEAPON FAQ linked above and, if you can find it, a DOJ letter that states that your particular receiver is lawful to import - especially if you can find one that does have the "58 DA's" FUD.

WOW! that's an awful lot of paper work to bring a long. Can some specific just the important section of the laws or have any document from the DOJ stating that the OLL is legally to purchase and if build up to a fixed 10 round is okay to have? Please can you help out a newb here so he won't get in any kind of trouble please. Thank you. Sorry for asking too much. :)

And I bet you thought there was no reason for the magazine pouches on the outside of the AR soft cases. I roll up and put the Kassler list and the definition of 'detatchable magazine' in there. They are no good for anything else.
